Assisted Living offers seniors the help they need with Activities of Daily Living. This includes things like dressing, bathing, medication management, etc. DaySpring is a faith-based community that supports and encourages the independence of our residents, while also encouraging them to live a full life spiritually while engaging in life.
Assisted Living is not a nursing home. The typical DaySpring resident may need assistance with medications, housekeeping, meals and other activities, but does not require a nurse or nursing services around the clock.
Unfortunately, no. It is important to be aware that no assisted living community can prevent resident falls. What DaySpring does do is provide an environment and services that encourage an active, healthful approach to living. Staying active is one of the best ways to prevent falls.
DaySpring has a licensed nurse available as needed. Assisted living providers are not required to employ a full-time nurse, but DaySpring has chosen to do so.
Our staffing ratio is variable and adjusted constantly based on the needs and preferences of our residents. Every resident has an individualized care plan which outlines the type of care or assistance needed and that encourages independence while allowing support for the resident where needed.

No, our assisted living does not require long-term lease commitments. However, our community does require a community fee upon signing the residency agreement. We also require 30 days written notice prior to moving out of the community.
Yes, we do offer short-term stays, also called a Respite Stay. A Respite Stay is a convenient option when planned or unforeseen circumstances occur such as a family vacation or recovery from an illness. It also serves as a great way to try out life at DaySpring.
