LaCrecia Whirl

Family Liaison

Celebrating 10 years of service!

LaCrecia Whirl started out by serving the residents of DaySpring as a volunteer. For several years, LaCrecia dedicated time each week enhancing the lives of DaySpring residents. LaCrecia has been a member of SENT Church, formerly known as Collin Creek Community Church, for more than 10 years and this is how she learned about the opportunity to serve and minister to DaySpring residents. Wanting to donate her time in a Church-related ministry, LaCrecia says DaySpring was a calling and she felt moved by God to serve. She discovered that the residents were blessing her with so much more than she ever imagined. As she faithfully poured love into them, they poured love back into her, at a very difficult time in her life. She says that the residents were her medicine and that serving them aided her healing. After 10 years of volunteering, LaCrecia joined the DaySpring team as an Activities Director. Shortly after becoming involved through the resident activity program, LaCrecia transitioned into a role as a Family Liaison, helping families who need to find assisted living for their loved one. LaCrecia says, “I am humbled to be a part of the LOVE of God lived out daily within DaySpring.” LaCrecia has been a blessing to the DaySpring team and to DaySpring residents and family members. She enjoys fashion, dancing, painting, and rollerblading in her time away from work.
